I'm drifting through discretely lurking.
Easter's not a time for working,
the world is in the Fig and Firkin
or donning bridles and a merkin
hoping that they'll come a lot.
I walk past virtual streams of trout
wand'ring aimlessly about,
planning meals: I think we're out
of onion and shallot.
I find a link and duly follow,
scratch my head, decide to wallow
writing verse that's hard to swallow.
While laughter echoes in the hollow
I quietly mutter "damn!" a lot.
I make some tea and then some cocoa.
Trout's allusive, but even so-so,
I have to ask - "that link's apropos
of precisely what?"
