Greetings! I just wanted to make sure you saw my post to you under "Please tell me what you're mad about." And thanks for your post to the Don't Ban Quincy thread. I think it will be a shame if they do ban him. It's all so stupid. JE

hi i did see it.
yeah. stupid is right. how are the editors gonna be able to back out of it though? they pretty much committed themselves with some really strong statements. if he can prove they're wrong, and if he wants to which i wouldn't, then they're going to look bad. so what are they going to do? i think they painted themselves into a corner. now they've got to ban him. and poor satyagraha (i've been researching that some more) only got fingered as a troublemaker because he took on the editors themselves. well, imo that was the honest thing to do. i'd seen more of quincy so i could speak up for him, but i sure couldn't have said anything if i didn't know anything about him, and what the editors posted was prejudicial.
if they go ahead and ban despite the general feeling that the guy is not that lekz person then there's going to be trouble, and if they let him back on, there's also going to be trouble, because he's going to have to watch every word he says. i know some new yorkers and that's not easy for them. they're... not inhibited. i don't like it. i really don't. i wish people wouldn't be so angry and hateful it's what makes the world such a dangerous place. if more people thought about how what they say and do could affect people...
right wendy, and if wishes were quarters i'd be a billionaire.
we all need a flower today i think.
