Hi Billy/debs
Green water isn't likely to kill fish at all.
What was the waterproofing you put on ?
The fish should be introduced as just one or two after the water has been allowed to settle down for a week or so from first filling it up.
The water goes green in teh sun because even tap water contains nutrients and green algae will grow firts until there are enough other plants established to soak up the nutrients. It also helps when you have floating plants, eg lilly leaves, covering half the surface area.
Good luck and enjoy watching your pond

we just used a pond sealer..and we did only put one guinee fish in..haha for two days we let just one fish swim around..and then we introduced all the others after it seemed okay.. its just sad that we recently lost two big fish in one day..we
thought itd be the water!
