Hi there, and welcome to the h2g2 community!

My name is Lifson and I am a geek. I'm also an ACE. ACE stands for Assistant Community Editor, and we're here to sort out all your little problems on h2g2. Also look out for the Gurus. They are here to sort out your bigger problems!!! To find an ACE or Guru, click on the "Who's Online" button at the side of the screen (in Classic Goo - across the top in Alablaster!), and most will have it as part of their names if they are one!

The full-time staff are generally known as the italics, because their names appear in italics in the "Who's Online" pop-up. That way, if you want to ask them a question, you know you are getting a member of staff, not someone pretending!!!

Indeed so - well spotted! We're in Eastbourne, on Kings Drive. You can't miss it - big brick building next to ECAT/South Downs College/Whatever! I'm a Year 2 student there doing Computing, English (Lang & Lit), General Studies and Photography. Great fun!

So are you also in Eastbourne? If so, perhaps we should have an H2G2 mini-meet when some of the other H2G2'ers I know get back home from Uni! Could be fun!

Hey there - yes, I do live in Eastbourne, about 5 minutes drive away from Park College! But not for much longer - I'm actually moving house on Friday and going to live in Uckfield. I like Eastbourne, but for family reasons Uckfield is more convenient. I have lived in Eastbourne for nearly 3 years - before that I lived in good old Bexhill-on-Sea for most of my life.

Wow! Neat! Perhaps you could pop back own here for the day during the Christmas Holidays at some point!!! We'll have to sort something out!

So were/are/will you be a student here? Do I know you? If you haven't recognised me by my Pseudonym, you probably don't know me personally, but if you were here last year or are here now you probably do know me anyway!!! I'm about 5-10 min drive away too. About 20-30 Min walk.

Sadly, I am not a young person. I am 37. I went to college in Bexhill in the early 80's. Family commitments and the house move mean I would be unlikely to be able to meet, but we'll see!

I dropped out of College due to personal inability to cope which has previously mystified me, but for which I might now have an explanation, if you glance at my journal entry for today!

Incidentally, I somehow ended up with a duplicate journal entry - any way I can delete one?

You wouldn't happen to know any young ladies called Toni, would you?

I worked out how to delete the extra journal entry - not too difficult, was it?
