Tres chere amie,
What a most beautiful desctiption you have written of the flock of sheep on the mountain roads in the Massif Centrale.
I must admit I was a bit surprisaed to find that you had emigrated to the antipodes!! Too far away for my liking.
I am so happy living in my new environment. And you understand the reason why parfaitement.
I send you good wishes and hope to talk to you again soon.
Bonne journee
Christiane

Hey AlsoRan80
I still live in Denmark.
tartaronne is a small (five farm) village in France where I went and stayed for a month with my family in a rented farmhouse. I was 16 or 17 years old.
The description of the sheep appearing from the morning mist is my first visual of our surroundings when I woke up and went outside the first day.
When I joined, I didn't havea nickname nor a presentation for the first couple of weeks, and then my 'mentor' asked me to find a name fast. I looked around - and there was my fathers painting from Tartaronne, and I picked that name.
