Hi!!
bubbles_unpopped Posted May 3, 2008
That must be nice to be outside! I miss my garden.
The US uses either GMT or time zones relating to the region. Like Central, Pacific, etc. It's just a matter of preference.
My GMT time zone is GMT-08:00...
Hope you're having a great time in your garden!

I never got out into it, because I had to do some editing and book a holiday for my son and his friends (they don't have credit cards).
So you were right - we are nine hours apart. This will be 11:44 Saturday morning/noon at your place and is 20:44 Saturday evening at my place.
I've just made dinner and will go and eat it. A wok dish with turkey and lots of vegetables.
Sig. S has just been diagnosed with diabetes B , so we have to eat lowfat, no sugar and not too much white flour.
But we all three like fish, vegetables and fruit so it is no big deal. And the son can still have meat and stuff.
Luckily he always drinks water (only juice and sweetened soft drinks at special occasions) and is too tight to buy , sweets and fast food for his own money.
Hi!!
bubbles_unpopped Posted May 3, 2008
That's too bad.
Well, like you said, at least he isnt used to eating sweets, fastfood, or sweetened drinks.
Oooo, your dinner sounds delicious!
I miss cooking food. I live in a dormatory right now and I don't hardly ever get a chance to cook.
Haha, wow, you are probably in bed right now, while it's pitch-black out. That is so cool
Well, night then!
Hi!!
tartaronne Posted May 3, 2008
Actually, I'm sitting here playing Mahjong and checking Facebook and Hootoo. It is pitch dark outside and everybody else is asleep - except the cat which is purring loudly.
I'm just about to go to bed. It's 02:45 here - that'll make it 17:45 at your place (?).
You cannot cook when youlive in a dormatory? You don't have a kitchen?
A dormatory is a place, where only students live together in seperate and shared rooms in a whole block, right? Maybe on school grounds - mayby outside.
Hi!!
bubbles_unpopped Posted May 3, 2008
Yes, that is exactly what it is And since I am a first year university student, I don't get the nicer dorms with the kitchens. O well, the year is almost over.
Awww, I miss having a cat.
How is your game of Mahjong going? How many tiles do you have left?
(Yes, it is 17:40 here)
Hi!!
tartaronne Posted May 3, 2008
I'm playing Mahjong on the computer - the most difficult game. And whenever I cannot go further, and the game is over, I try 'just once more'. I've been doing that for the last two hours.
Hi!!
tartaronne Posted May 3, 2008
If you don't get kitchens, how do you get food, then? You have a students' canteen or a cafeteria?
Hi!!
bubbles_unpopped Posted May 3, 2008
Hahaha, i know how that is. There is this little fish game, and I lose over and over. But i always think, "just one more".
Hi!!
tartaronne Posted May 3, 2008
And good night. I'dbetterget some sleep and be ready for garden work tomorrow. The last day of my holiday - allthough I've been writing articles all week at home. Monday I start again at the radio. I'm the boss at a local radio station.
Hi!!
tartaronne Posted May 5, 2008
First day at w*rk after the holidays - and the mast transmitting our signal has been down since last week
Hi!!
tartaronne Posted May 6, 2008
It was fixed today, two hours before we usually sign on .
There's nothing as demoralising as getting work done and then throw it out, producing five hours' radio broadcast - and then not being able to send it.
But alas, we're back on track - or rather back om the FM band.
Hi!!
bubbles_unpopped Posted May 29, 2008
Yes I am .
However, I only have about 2.5 weeks left, so I am just hanging in there and waiting for ummer to come .
How are you doing?
Hi!!
tartaronne Posted May 31, 2008
I've been busy with w*rk and other stuff like that. ;-/.
And I look at this webcam whenever I have time: mms://tv.eenet.ee/kurepesa

Ugh... work... haha, can't live with it, can't live without it
That is the most wonderful webcams ever! I am seriously going to watch that continuously!
Thats neat it's in Estonia, I have a friend who lives there.
Thank you for showing me the webcam
Hi!!
tartaronne Posted Jun 1, 2008
It is fascinating. Yesterday I saw the small ones being fed. .
I have the link from an estonian woman - a researcher here - who has become a real life friend. Hati her name is on hootoo.
During the winter she also gave me a link to a site in the woods in Estonia where boars were fed. Also interesting.
Hi!!
bubbles_unpopped Posted Jul 17, 2008
Wow! That is so neat! I wish I could have seen that!
Gosh, I have not been on here for so long! I'm in Wisconsin for the summer and am in the "middle of no-where" and have not had internet connection for about 2 months now! I have a lot of catching up to do!
So how is your summer been? Have you done anything fun?
