Did you know, that if you hit that 'Preferences' button, you can change your name from a number to whatever you like. Of course, you can leave it as a number if you prefer. That's why it's called, er, 'preferences'. 
I'm DoctorGonzo, one of h2g2's Assistant Community Editors. We're a bunch of people who have volunteered to help anyone new to the site, so if you have any questions, just hit that reply button down there.
