I read you're part of the conversation in "I cling to the hope of colonization". You said we would ruin the planet if we kept launching rockets into space. But the reason we're going into space is to get off this crummy planet!

Its not so crummy from where I'm standing Tim. Besides, bearing in mind the time it is likely to take mankind to develop any possibility of intergalactic space travel, we are going to have to preserve the earth as a pleasant and productive place to live for a few millenia yet...
