Well, I was looking around the guide and noticed the lack of quality information about Afghanistan, and I think that it would be quite useful to have at least some basic information about the country so that we can all understand what's going on there. (Plus I'm doing a paper on it for school, so I already have most of the research done.)I'd like to take a look at Afghanistan's history, government structure (well, previous ones or guesses at what the structure will be, since there isn't really any government there at the moment), economy, and issues that they have to deal with.
Proposed entry titles:
History
Government Structure
Economy
Current Issues
Proposed start date: 22nd November 2001
Proposed finish date: 22nd January 2002 (that's the last day of my winter break, so I know that the project will be done by then)

Hi badtz_maru007,
That sounds like a good idea to me, so go ahead with it.
The only thing I'd be wary of is getting your information from a wide enough range of sources. You probably need to ensure that there is a balanced treatment of their previous governments' involvements with the UK, Russia, America, etc.
Good luck with it - I'll put a link on the Faculty of Social Sciences page, under 'Human Geography': http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A612299
