I'm a senior in Highschool this year. After I graduate I'll be working a year, then I will consider college. And only heaven knows how long it'll take to get throuhg (should I choose to go)

I'll probably work at the bookstore I currently work at. But I have no Idea what I want to study, which is part of the reason I am waiting for college and giving myself time in the *real* world before I decide.

Sounds interesting. I guess there is plenty of time yet to decide what you want to study. In the UK people who take a year out before going to University often travel - would you consider doing something like that?

I would consider it if it wasn't for the whole "money" thing. But I should be saving instead of going and spending. I did consider maybe doing a service project of some kind, but again the money thing.

How has your day been?

Oh, my day was fairly good. School was boring is usual *grin* And when I got home, I got of the anyoing things out of the way first (homework and dishes) so now I can just sit around the rest of the evening.

Out of curiosity, what time is it where you are? (I'm still thinking about the whole "time zone" thing)

Today went well and I really enjoyed it although the day was very long as I ended up not leaving there until 7.30pm!

Same old same old. Just doing this and that...
Ran into a scary experience last night here on h2g2.
I was just bumming around like I always do, trying to keep my name on the "most posts" list. I went to the page and scrolled down to the "Most Recent Conversations" sections. I saw an interesting conversation that I thought would be cool and had visited a day or so previously. (I think it was the "You know you are a h2g2 addict when..." conversation). I popped in and started reading the recent post. Then I realized that they were using "The Thoery" every now and again in their posts. It was unsettling. It ends up that they were asking me to join the North-East US Researchers Group. The funny thing is that it was only by chance that I went by that board at all...

I think they were joust trying to be friendly! It can be wierd when people you dont know you know are talking about you but when you get your head round the fact that when you post to a conversation some people will stop by your space and then see what else is happening in your conversations to get to know you ...

Its fun!

I just can't get past the fact that I actually went to the board at the right time to catch the conversation... it wasn't in my conversation list at the time. Pure, random chance played it's hand...
