I know what you mean. I was a tad scared when I joined too. fortunately everyone on h2g2 is real nice and made me feel right at home. I am fairly new here, as well, and I found that the best part of this site is getting responses to your page, so I spread the joy. If you have any questions you can feel free to ask me (no matter how "dumb" you think that it might be) even though I probably won't know the answer.
