I don't think I could watch anything for ever. Even programmes I really like, I usually end up getting bored with. I could listen to music or twiddle about on the computer or read for hours, but TV I really have to be in the mood for. Mind you, I'd watch any old rubbish when I am trying to avoid the washing-up. I probably watch more documentaries than anything else (we need an anorak smiley here), although the odd good drama does interest me. Telly is very good for veging out and watching nonsense when I am tired though. I have taped this weeks West Wing again and I imagine I may end up watching it tonight as there is usually naff all on TV on Tuesday nights.

Bye for now.

I agree about Teusday evenings. Definitely the most boring nigt of the week.

smiley - geek ? Oh, yeah, definately!

The only entertaining thing I saw on TV on Tuesday night was V Graham Norton, because he had Mirian Margoles as his guest and she is always funny. It seems to me that the older she gets the naughtier she gets. Good on her! smiley - cool

I usually tune in for the start of Graham Norton's programme, if only to see how rude he will be about the Big Brother contestants (and they so deserve it!) but unless he has a really amusing guest, I generally don't watch the whole show.

You think Miriam Margolyes is getting ruder? I've only seen her in a couple of films, but they were very much family viewing (Harry Potter as Pr. Sprout and Mulan as the Matchmaker) so I couldn't really say.
I never watch Graham Norton, the sole exception being when he had Stephen Fry on, who is simply a dude. I'm just not a fan of the risque brand of humour he uses. Having said that, I do seem to quite enjoy him when he is on other shows, especially Just a Minute on Radio 4.

Stephen Fry, oh now you're talking! I do like him. I think he has a home somewhere in East Anglia (possibly Norfolk) so that makes him even more of a dude! Have you read any of his books? I read "The Hippopotamus" last year, which started off odd, got faintly disgusting in the middle, carried on being odd and then turned out to have what I considered to be a rather clever ending. What more could you ask for in a book?
Have a nice weekend!

I've not actually read his books, but last night I did read his foreword in Salmon of Doubt, which was largely a rather moving tribute to DNA.
