You dirty rat!

Joel Thebes

Well, THAT got your attention, didn't it? smiley - biggrin

I'm Joel Thebes and I'm playing a part in a combination panto/film noir (My part is the Peter Lorre type, modelled after Peter Lorre's character in the Maltese Falcon - Joel Cairo). The panto is just getting going. The guy who first thought it up last June never really got it started, so I am lending a helping hand. I've created a page for it and things are just beginning to roll now.

So....why am I telling you this? Because I think it is something that would be right up your alley. There is one part still open (the police chief), plus the part of Private Detective Phillip Morrison may be open if the original player doesn't show up soon. Furthermore, the part of "knuckles" is open, since the original player for that part is apparently not available anymore. And finally, there is always room for a freshly-created character.

So....you might want to drop in to the "cast conversation" thread on the panto page and either claim one of the two open parts, create a part, or wait a day or two until we know whether the Morrison part is open (that's probably the juiciest part, so it may be worth waiting for).

Here's the page: A3112048
And this is the thread where it all started: F152416?thread=430734

You already know a couple of the players, and you know me and Riccardo too, although you don't know who is under the makeup (but I'm sure you'll guess before long, if not already). The other folks seem to be good players, so it should be lots of fun.

Hope to see you there.

This news just in: The Morrison role is open! It's a plum part and is yours for the taking!

I saw you were back, so I thought I'd pop this conversation to the top of your conversation list. smiley - winkeye

Thanks for the invitation, but I think I'll have to pass this time around. I'd love to participate, but I just don't seem to be able to keep up with the conversations I'm already involved in lately (even though there aren't that many of them).

I'll have to confine myself to lurking. smiley - sadface

I really don't have time for it either, but I have less will power. You could always invent a character later if you find you have some more spare time.

I'll see if I can find someone else for the Morrisson part, but I wanted to give you first refusal.
