Heya!
How're we all, people? I've just set up a reunion page for all those involved with the bandwagon - Us, The voters, newbies who didn't get to take part - Well, ok, it's just another excuse for a party

Don't worry, if I had the choice to join in another Bandwagon, or this imposter (), I'd choose the Bandwagon. However, if I had the choice of joining in another Bandwagon, this imposter (
) and staying put and not entering either, I'd choose staying put and not entering either.

Today I've had an email to say that #2 from this thread (posted August 12 *2001*!!) has been removed as being in breach of House Rules because "Your message is off-topic for this particular message board or online community."
What????

It's about time the moderators caught up with the backlog.
Judging by the postings 4 and 5, I'm guessing you were asking about some *other* moderated post? Perhaps it's no longer acceptable to refer to the previous existence of unacceptable things?

Not at all. I was welcoming you back after your time in the Big Bandwagon house, and asked if you had said anything memorable or silly that could be used as a soundbite quote. I've been got at by the yikser!
It was being moderated for going "off topic" that seemed odd to me. h2g2 is known for it! And how could I go off topic by #2, in a thread that you've got linked from your own page, in a sentence that actually mentions your time in the Big Bandwagon!
I've been given the chance to rewrite it. But perhaps I'll request a fuller explanation first. Unless you'd like it left moderated, as a piece of controversy or mystery in your message centre?

I think you should reply to the e-mail, Coeley - the first e-mail you get is an automated reply, but if you in turn reply to it, it will reach a real, live Editor. And yes, going off topic seems a very odd reason indeed for a posting to be moderated!
Key: Complain about this post
