Hi Medi! (Yes, I'm subscribed to Tom's page...) I will get him back here on h2g2... He's working on an entry that's taking awhile, and he doesn't want to get back on until he can tell everyone it's finished. Plus he's really busy IRL (which is why the entry's taking so long...) And the computer always seems to be tied up, for some reason...
(Though I've told him several times that if he wants on, I'll get off...)

Perhaps Tom's getting salvation and sanctification mixed up
Salvation is a once for all dealing with our sin by Jesus' substitutionary death on the cross. Sanctification is the process of rebuilding the saved sinner and starts at salvation and continues in fits and starts at times till death (in this world) or the second coming. You don't opt out of the world while the work of sanctification is going on so Tom shouldn't be afraid to join in a bit. Few of us bite (well not hard anyway).
