I'm okay love, a lot has happened since we last spoke..

How are you?

I've just started at Bournemouth University and am studying the Scriptwriting for Film and Television degree that I was interested in doing. I've been at the university for four days now and they have been going okay, but not as good as I would like them to go. Hopefully things will get better next week as the actual course starts then, because at the moment I have just been having welcome lectures and introductory lectures about the course and life in general at university.

Sorry for not keeping in touch over the past several months, but I have been very busy getting ready for university and organising various things connected to that. I went to a summer school at the university back in July for a couple of weeks, which was like an introduction to the university and life at the university, and that was very interesting and a good experience. I also passed two English exams in August, both with an A grade, although I got a B overall as my exams the previous year didn't have such high grades.

And right at this moment, I have developed a very strong and keen interest in "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy." I recently bought the 2005 film on DVD and I think it is really excellent. My favourite character has to be Zaphod Beeblebrox, who in the film was portrayed brilliantly in my opinion. I love the two heads and three arms!

Sorry for the delay in replying. I've been quite busy with a script and an essay that forms my first university assignment!

So, if you don't mind me asking and are happy to talk about it, what's been going on with you then that makes you say you're now better than you were?

I don't mind the telling, but it would just stir up another hornets nest if I did.

Things have been said, accusations and counter-accusations have been thrown about. One causing a lot of mischief amongst others.. Childish playground tactics that upset a lot of people

That is what upset me.. now things are settling down (hopefully)

Isn't it bizarre how we have this wonderful site where we can write entries on absolutely anything (within reason of course) and can chat and even meet new, like-minded people, and yet there are some people out there who feel the need to go and spoil it for the vast majority of us?

And using childish playground tactics only upsets the person or people they are used against and makes the perpetrator look stupid and frankly rude and impolite.

I'm surprised that there doesn't seem to be some sort of penalty system for those who act in this way. I think they should be given a warning for the first offence and then have their membership revoked if they continue. I know that may sound a little harsh, but at least it would discourage other members from following the example set by one idiot with bad manners.

Any communication from the Tower is private between the sender and receiver, unless the receiver wishes to divulge it's contents. So really, we don't know what has been said officially. As I said, things have settled down, so hopefully they will remain that way.
