Thanks for making contact. I have not been too well and my fingers are too sore to type. Hopefully, after a visit to a London rheumatologist on Thursday he will be able to suggest something to improve the condition. Hope you are keeping well. Regards AR1

I'm sorry to hear that you haven't been well, AR1...
I hope they'll be able to find out what to do about it - I know my mother had some trouble with... with... *throws away useless dictionary* ...arthrosis? Anyway, they did some surgery on her thumbs, and now they're working fine again

Hopefully my hands will not need surgery. I have an auto-immune type of psoriatic arthropophy which means that my epithelium cells go mad and multiply and take over whatever is in their path.!!
So pleased that your Mum has recovered. It is wonderful what surgery can do. Affectionately AR1
