Late nights and not enough work...
Zantic - Who is this woman?? Started conversation Nov 26, 2002
Heyla AR1 my dearest .
I have been keeping tabs on you for the last couple of weeks. I was very sorry to hear about your hands giving you gyp! Hope it's all settled down again, and that you are taking Evening Primrose oil and cod liver oil to help ease your joints?
Calais sounds like great fun. I would love to go myself, but can rarely get motivated (and don't really have the dosh) for that sort of excursion. I know Munchkin and Toccata went last year with some other freinds, but I didn't have my passport at the time (the last time I went abroad...1995, to the Greek mainland...the Halkidki region if I remember correctly.......I came home and in a peak of teenage 'independance', told my Ma that I could look after my passport...I haven't seen it since..
I'll bet you were a right terror on your motorized wheelchair, and I'll bet you found it a lot easier and more comfortable than the chair you were in at the meet in Summer!
Did you have a good lunch with your brother?
I went to visit my folks a couplke of weekends ago and my sister also turned up. We had a eally nice, quiet family weekend, doing little other than feeding our faces and catching up on the gossip...and of coursee finding out what everyone wants for their X-mas.
We did go and see the Millenium Wheel of Falkirk...Its a canal wheel which joins the Forth and Clyde canals together just at the back of Falkirk (the big town outhside which is the village I come from)
It's really quite spectacular...even on a grey and dreary day, and quite a clever idea too...not that I really understand the engineering behind it. That ain't the sort of engineering I'm attuned to!
As per ususl, I have been running round work like a bule behinded wotsit, although at the moment I have nothing to do but sit an wait for things to sort themselve out without my intervention....therefore this little note.
Apart from that I've not been feeling to great, but that's more to so with SAD than anything else...it's hit quite hard this year...probably something to do with London having much less light than the countryside I grew up in.
Anyway, I'm off to bug other folks now!
You take care of yourself now.. s for my favorite
All my love..
Zantic

Very dear Zantic ?
It is always so nice to get your news. thank you my busy little bee. Some of the words I do not understand. e.g. SAD Is that a state of mind or shortening for something. I like the blue...... except that I would probably say BAF!!.
Glad you had a nice family weekend. What does your sister do? The wheel sounds tremendous. I always feel so sad about the local Millenium Dome. It got such a bad press and yet I went to visit it and truly had the most wonderful day. But I find that people in England are very unforgiving. They decide not to like something and that is that. Nothing will change them.
I have an appointment with a rheumatologist next Thursday. Hopefully he will be able to offer me some help. There is a new medication called EMBREL which is at the moment given for rheumatoid arthritis but which has proved to be very effective for psoriatic arthritis. It would be so good to see you again. Are you gong to Scotland for Christmas. I expect so.
I have just had another super day in France - this time we went to Wimereux and then went and had a most glorious lunch at a spot called Cap Gris-Nez which is where the channel swimmers both land and depart from. I have decided that I am going to go once a month for as long as I am able to. it is really a great pleasure. Find your passport my darling and then you will be able to hitch a lift with me!!
Fond from AR1
