Nope, I've just been busy. And I've jut come back from holiday on the Canal!

Have heard rumours that you are going to attempt to make it to the Meet in Nodnol on the 20th?
YAY! and if so, we finally get to meet!

Stuff at work is kina hectic...however, my group has now got it's own computer, so only three of us are sharing rather than fifteen, which means that I can get a little bit more time doing silly h2g2 type stuff...like actually replying to my friends..

How was your trip on the Canal? Did you manage the locks and are they very frightening? Do you moor the barge at night? I have always wanted to go on the Canal du Midi - sadly I shall not be able to now. Ah well - c'est la vie. AR1

I never even said goodbye to you. But I think that you are in the one photo with Munchkin and I think Tocatto in the hat.! I hope I am right. You had a hat on when you came and spoke to me.
I was so astonished to see you as a girl, when in my mind's eye I had "typed"you as a guy I was quite shattered. Please forgive me.
I hope you enjoyed the meet. Did you go to the pub afterwards? I do not think that you like questions as I notice that you have not answered any of my questions about the trip on the canal!!
I am having a great time meeting up with the photographs and with people that I really did meet.
I was quite bothered because I came away not knowing the real names of anyone. But now, after reflection, and a chat with Munchkin, I think that it is a very good thing. Although how do you three(four) get on because you know one another's names and you are friends. Does it cramp your style? Or make you more adventurous? There I go again asking questions. Sorry.
I am making lunch so must go and start it.

I had a great time at the meet...and met lots of folks I've been chatting to intermittantly...like yourself. I'm being a very bad correspondant at the moment, but don't think it's cos I don't care... It was great to see you, and don't worry about not saying goodbye...I Didn't come over either...

I'm glad you are chatting with muchie...he's a great guy who can explaine most things...if only in his own little universe!
We manage very well...although we do occasionally say the wrong name in the wrong place, but I'ce known Munchie and Psychochien by those names for several year....not just on this site. Those are actually their usenames. In fact it's only in the last tow years that I've gotten to know their real names. And Toccatta just suits her...
As to how we act even though we know out freinds are on site and likely to be spying...I don't usually think about it...and if something happens, well then I know I'll jsut end up getting teased rotten abou tit for a vry long time.

But having people you know in the flesh when going to these meets makes it an awful lot easier...cos you know you are never going to be stuck without a person to talk to!

We all ended up at the pub in the eveing and, as far as I can make out, all had a brilliant time...although the Woking crowd apparently had an interesting trip home...But you'll have to ask them about that one..

There....If you want to know about anything else, come look at my Journal..I do try and keep it up to date....or at least only a couple of weeks behind...

I have looked through your journal - found one entry which I wrote to you. But all my dreary health details, which I sent you, seem to have disappeared into thin air. Probably much better there. Anwway,I do not have much news as I am jolly tired, but someone has been using my computer all day and I could only get to it late. I hope you sleep like the proverbial log and that you are still keeping up the non smoking habit. Well done. A big affectionate AR1

I have been to your home page and read your journal and it is quite apparent that you are doing the most ground-breaking important work and that you have time for NOTHING particularly as you as still a non-smoker!!
Well done by dear. I would still like to have that web site on genetic illnesses which I found through you )I think) I am beginning to wonder if I dreamt it.
I am having great fun on the site. Got lots of new friends,and enjoying it all. My granddaughter has arrived and it is wonderful having her here. K. is quite well. My brother now has diabetes and is refusing medication. I am cooking for him as well every day. The problem is getting the food to him as he neither answers his phone or his doorbell.

I shouldn't be doing this sort of thing at all...but the boss goes on holiday on Friday and I have to do rush work cos he's feeling guilty that he's not going to be around for the next to weeks.
Myself, I find this a wonderful prospect as he's been bugging the life out of me since I got back from Scotland a couple of weeks ago...
