Hi Also Ran 1
Have you thought of posting after all your old conversations with this account?
You could type one message, e.g.
"This is {your researcher name before} in my new clothes/account"
The you will have all your old conversations appearing on this personal space.
People you have already spoken to will realize what has happened.
Believe it or not, this is a common occurance, and sometimes it is easier to stick with the new account, than try to get back into the old one.
The numbers don't matter, anyway. It's the person posting who counts.
I'm delighted to make your aquaintance, I thought I was the oldest researcher on h2g2
I hope you don't give up on h2g2, you have done well so far
My parents are both taking computer courses {they are 83 & 82} but they don't intend purchasing a computer.
I saw your post at the attendance thread for the next meet-up, I will be going to that {try and stop me!} so I will be delighted to meet you in the flesh at the end of January.
Let us know if you have any more problems, we are here to help and it isn't any trouble, it's what we love to do.

Hi Archangel Galaxie, Your lovely welcome filled me with pleasure and joy at being alive. Good for your parents. Tell them they cannot learn how to work a computer without one. It is rather like learning to swim on dry land. Actually that is a lousy comparison. Johhny Weissmuller, who won gold medals at three Olympic Games had a coach who did not know how to swim!!. I'm sorry to overtake you in years - but very pleased to have been encouraged by you. I look forward to seeing you at the party. I am trying to persuade my eldest son - or possibly one of my grandsons to escort me so that they can wheel their ancient but hopefully still Gran to the party.Still in a daze with the events of the last few days. (I've just remembered the name of Tarzan's coach(JW)It was Mr. Bacrach. I wonder what part of my brain that came from? I do not think that I have thought about it for about sixty years!!.) Before my memory starts getting into a very slow overdrive I shall bid you Bon soir. AR

Dear Archangel, You said to write to you if I had a problem. Well I seem to have been doing a few things which were out of order. Like writing in French - for which I have apologised to the Moderators. Also I had written womething on Mental Illness which was on my space, and I replied to someone and that appears to have gone. did I do the wrong thing again there? Perhaps I should type out the house rules and look at them before I commit anything to the computer!!. Thanks for your help. AR1 The aged ess
