h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I'm Peta the Community Editor. I'm here to help sort out things for the h2g2 Researchers, organise the parties and so on.

I've just read your Personal Space, very cool! If you get stuck on h2g2 at all, just drop me an email at [email protected] and I'll help out, I can do things like re-send you your password and so on. Just shout if you need any help okay? It's what I'm here for!

The h2g2 real-time party in January, I saw your response in the RSVP thread. It'd be lovely if you could make it along there. The h2g2 parties really are good fun, everyone is so friendly and there's a total mix of people. We haven't booked the venue yet, so I'll endeavour to find a venue with wheelchair access. I think that should be entirely possible. When I book the venue I'll publicise it on the Party 2002 page, here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A644717 and I'll make sure to add whether there's wheelchair access or not. I'm pretty sure we can find somewhere suitable, but I'll confirm it later.

Lastly, Dancer is one of my volunteer Assistant Community Editors, or ACEs as they're called. I'll send Dancer over to find you in your new homespace, along with some of the other Aces.

Dear Peta, How tremendously kind of you to write. thank you. I wish I had known about you last weekend - it would have been a far happier one. I could'nt remember my online name, nor my password. Anyway, fortunately I managed to re-invent myself as a another Also ran 1. And I have written down all the catch phrases - I take loads of folic acid - very good for the memory and to prevent Altzheimers - but still manage to forget some things. Hope to meet you in January. Happy party planning.
