Doughnuts may not quite be breakfast, but they make a wonderful midnight snack, especially as the donut place is the only thing open all night at my school. As I don't even have a fridge down here, I've been existing on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches most of the time, but there are those rare Americans who can, and do, indulge in cooking upon occasion. Granted, I personally prefer not cooking if I can avoid it, but the array of mediocre fast food (I mean mediocre by fast food standards, which puts it into the pretty darn miserable class) makes cooking a much better alternative. Besides, I am but a poor student. Neither my budget nor my figure could afford going out to eat every meal.

Although uni is like a city, plenty of eateries, banks, postoffice, dentist, legal office, etc,, if you wanted anything to eat after abut 8.30 you'd be out of luck. That's what time the Indian place shuts. After that you'd have to walk to the McDonalds across the road, but their fairly big grounds so you might wanna grab something for the walk back as well. Or drive, but if you got in your car why wouldn't you go somewhere decent? Bon Voyage? I give in, catch you later. Ummm, did you mention figure?

Give me another two months and I can go back to bitching about having too much work and barely enough time to check my email. Reading essentially doesn't happen to me during the school year, so I take advantage of it while I can.

It's ok, the different school years thing hadn't really occurred to me either. But yeah, it's summer vacation for me which explains why I have so much time to spend online, as opposed to the school year where I spend inordinate amounts of time online in order to put off my schoolwork.
