Did everyone miss my post 18?
Looks like we have to go into competition for the position of shipboard computer Shazz. I take comfort in not being the only despised person areound here!

Hi Beth
Well it looks as if Hull is going to have his hands full with two of us about!
I guess we'll just have to alternate and hope all can still function smoothly eh?

*contented sigh* I certainly did read your Posting 18, Beth, and it made me feel so satisfied and happy I just swooned away for a time. Thankyou for making a Door supremely happy
What a great team we'd make, guys two on-board computers and a door! Great! Super! With double the brain-power and everyone having to go through me
And you two could have such fun playing chess and disagreeing and agreeing and fighting and making up an' playing logic games with each other and steering the ship an'stuff! Just great!! Super! Bliss!
And Beth - just a bit of work on your attitude problem and you too could very easily become a door Very easily! I mean it would give me such satisfaction to see you achieve your ambition! Just Think Positive!!! Great!
Having my hands full with two computers with personality problems would be such FUN

Oh yes! You are so right Hull
Both of us have to go through you!
I suppose we should be grateful that none of us are paranoid androids!
Game of chess Beth? I rather think that my onboard program is faulty so you should find me a breeze to beat.

Don't talk to me about chess! Last week I taught a twelve year old how to play who then beat me effortlessly.
So I've given up chess, Shazz - perahps there is something else we can try.

Hello esteemed fans!
I'd like to welcome Nyree Rose to the HFC officially. Nyree Rose, you're officially Welcome!
Nyree Rose is an accomplished poet in her own write. She comes from that magical-mysterious land north of the border that has all that weather, the land from which Beth also originated.
It's also a very poetical-tragedical land, the land that produced the great William McGonagall , Genius poet (and Tragedian), and whisky, (a great help in waxing Poetical and Tragical or so I'm told).
So thrice welcome, NR, from all of us.
PS. Do check yourself on the Sirius Cybernautics Personality test ( link in posting 16 in this thread), and have a go at the Vogon Poetry Game. They say it's fun.
Graciously,
Hull

Hello Hull most esteemed
I forgot to tell you that I moved you to your own (well for the moment!) archive devoted to Vogon Poetry. You better change your link so that you don't misdirect everyone to the 'other' poetry archives!
You can find the archive here: A700688

O most highly revered editroid shazz
Thanks - I've updated my link.
I've dreamed - Oh, how I've dreamed ! for my own archive (well for the moment). All those cold winters gathering firewood for the fire, trudgin' thru the snow, all those years starvin' in the garrett, all that money spent on books about how to write Vogon poetry and going without meals to pay for them ! All that writin' and writin' for over a hundred years, with no thought for myself, all in the service of Art and my Genius ! And now I've made it, I tell you, made it ! (for the moment). And I say Ha ! to all those geniuses (Albert Einstein, Emily Dickinson etc) who haven't made it, cos they haven't got their own archive (for the moment) in the basement of the Great, esteemed h2g2 Post. Ha ! And again, Ha !
ps could you pop over to the Vogon Poetry Game and help Beth out?
Gracefully,
Hull

Oh most excellent - starving and freezing for eons and now, quite rightly, awarded - for the moment at least until someone else braves the critical yet strangely silent body which makes the bulk of readers of The Post and especially the archives - with his own impressive archive - I am impressed by your haste in correcting the aforementioned link and will try to help our dear friend Beth when I can tear myself away from the dusty backrooms which comprise the nether regions of <./>thepost</.>
