h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hello WyrmMaster, I finally made it here to ACE you Welcome to h2g2. I'm one of those ACEs everyone in the other thread keep mentioning. ACEs (assistant community editors) are a group of volunteers who meet and greet new researchers and provide any help if it's needed.

I see you've already started to settle in and you probably know far more about computing than I do so I'll just give you a few suggestions about where you might want to start exploring on h2g2.

The H2G2 Post, h2g2's own surperb newspaper, has a page of useful and interesting links at http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A616718 It has a list of some of the many clubs and societies here. They're a good way to start to meet people and get used to how the community works.
