Friends - Why?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but when you're pregant isn't your first scan at around 12 weeks? Is it just different in America or are the writers of "Friends" living in their own little world? Rachel, now pregant with Ross' child (which, of course, we all believe) has just gone for her first scan. She's only one month pregant!! Is it just me or is "Friends" going down the hill fast? Don't get me wrong, I used to love it. It used to be the best show on TV. Then Monica and Chandler got together, which, I admit, I wanted. But she turned him into such a wimp. He just wasn't funny anymore. And now this whole Rachel/pregant thing...it doesn't even make sense. Jennifer Aniston isn't pregant, so why write it in? To be honest, I can't understand why the network want to give them $1 million per show, because, frankly, its not worth it.

Writer's Block

Ever since I can remember I've always loved writing. I recall fondly my first story which I wrote during Guide camp back in the summer of 96, about a young girl who finds out her not so nice mother is actually not her biological mother. Instead her young uncle and aunt are her real parents. It was fill of angst, which is strange for a eleven going on twelve year old, but I was a strange child. Still am. The story ended happily by the way. Throughtout the years I've written bits and pieces, mostly for school and then as I grew more obsessed with Buffy, I begain to try my hand at fan fiction. Unfortunatly, for a couple of months now, I haven't been able to write anything. I get ideas but that's where they stop. The last story I wrote was a piece of homework for my English class, a modern day fairy tale. (I got an A for it by the way) But now, nothing. Zilch. Which is awful, because not only do I have to fill my days with mindless tv or reading books that are way better than anything I could ever come up with, but it seems that the years I spent entertaining an idea of pursuing a career in journalism seems to have been wasted. Can anyone help me, please?
