Hey thanks for your suggestion on the 'blame 2legs' thread. I use Final Cut Pro on my Mac which has plenty of audio filters, but really there is nothing that can be done properly whatever filter you use post production, unless other sounds on the recording are unimportant, because it will affect them. I do use a wind shield for recordings, mostly done with a separate mic and recorded on minidisc, but sometimes the wind still becomes audible.

I usually just put on some other audio track with no wind sounds...or as I said play a clip silent. I do kind of arty stuff which often works well with silent bits.

But I just wanted to thank you for your suggestion.
