*floating in, in her usual vague, elf-like manner*
I've noticed you frequenting Lil's atelier recently, so I thought I'd drop by...
{candle}?
I have a burning candle here:

Let me know if you'd like to use it, and I'll give you the code...

Thank you for floating through
I flapped by your place and was admiring your candle.
I would be most grateful for the code

This is the code - quite simple really - I've used an exisiting h2g2 picture, and hidden the rest of it:

Oh - and unfortunately it only shows in IE, not in Netscape...
...if you ever find (your own or someone elses) solution how to solves this, please let me know!
I'm also trying to get around the fact that it always the left part of a picture that shows (I have one where I'd like to use the right half)...

However I will put on my best 's anorak and have a go.

Thanks for your efforts, count Mistadrong...
...but that only places the left part of the h2g2 picture in the middle of the page - maybe I wasn't very good at explaining...
Let's say I wanted the middle of the h2g2 picture to show inside the table - that's what I'm looking for - a way of choosing which part of the h2g2 picture I want to show...
