Thanks Niwt! I was feeling kind of lost at first. I find the text mostly content to be quite dry, but am getting used to it as I am finding a lot of interesting entries which get my artist's blood all stirred up.

Are the pictures mountable to My Space? If so, how? I could only insert a link to the bbc address which brings up the image in another page. I really want the image to appear fight on my page between the intro paragraphs.

Also how do I set a Goo background? It doesn't enter it when I Edit Page. Awaiting your reply . . .

The smileys are fun. I used them to message an intro on My Space.

Hello!

Firstly, if you want to change your nickname, click on the button that says "Preferences". Then you can be Luke, although you might prefer to choose something else.

To put pictures in your space, you have to use GuideML, a mark-up language similar to HTML (sort of). Change the style down the button of you intro editing form from Plain Text to GuideML.

Smileys in GuideML are still available but slightly different, so you would say <SMILEY TYPE="sheep"/> to get a .

Pictures need a tag or whatever it's called, so the one you chose would be (good choice!).

You can change the alt text to whatever you want, so if you're like me you might prefer

As for Goo...I think you have to change your whole skin to Goo. Do this by clicking on the "Preferences" button again and changing the skin from Alabaster to Classic Goo. Most people prefer it, although I don't.
