Hey, I just read you're 'Tips For Hitchhickers Visiting Oklahoma.' Very Froody!!! I noticed you're a sphomore in High School, that's cool cause I happen to be one also, and I'm also from Oklahoma!!! Wow, how very freaky. Okay, so it's not THAT weird, but I little odd you must admit. Welcome to the h2g2, see-ya around.

Tahlequah, which is near..... umm.... Muskogee, kinda. Don't feel bad if you have no idea where Tahlequah, most people don't.
Freeow??? Dare I even ask??

Josh the Genius Posted Nov 29, 2001
I've been through Talequah at least once. As for Freeow, well, Zaphod Beeblebrox of the original Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy said it, usually after consuming alchoholic beverages.

You've actually been through Tahlequah?? I'm impressed. Most people have never even heard of it before. Go you!
Freeow!!
I should have caught on to that!! I fell so stupid... You'll have to forgive me, my brain is numb, sorry.

Don't worry about it. I'm sure even Zaphod forgets what Freeow means, especially when he is inebriated (often). If you're like me, you don't have to drink to be a numbskull.
Speaking of drinking, I need

Drinking and I certainly don't mix. I've always wondered Zaphod can survive so much heavy(!!) drinking, I guess having two heads must help somehow. Oh well, I've got lots of homework to do tonight; I never use my weekends to do my work, perhaps I should... maybe next time. Later, I've got to wake my mind up now.

I'm not an ACE, a SCOUT or any of the other guys that patrol H2G2, but what I see makes me worried. Please don't trade personal details any further.

Hi,
Peta here. Community Editor. I don't think we've spoken before! Hi!
as Madent says, t's always important to keep your personal details secret. But you've only traded cities, which is of course fine. Make sure you don't give more precise details, especially your full addresses though. It's important to be a bit anonymous on the net. But then that's half the fun isn't it?
Take care, enjoy h2g2, and if you need anything here on h2g2 just drop by my Personal Space and ask!

OKay.... I feel like I'm five years old now, but that's okay. I understand where you peoples are coming from, and it was quite nice of you to take concern, and for that I thank you. But, not to worry I don't intent to give my address to anyone, and I don't actually live in Tahlequah, I live almost half an hour out of it. I go to school there because it is the closest High School, yea, I know, I live on the edge of the middle of nowhere. And it's rather unsual to find another person in Oklahoma that has ever even heard of Douglas Adams, or even reads books outside of school. Scary, huh??

Sorry for making you feel five, that's not good. Have a or two.
That might help!
No-one reads books? Yes that's scary! There are some superbly good books out there. I've just been reading Northern Lights by Philip Pullman. That's really good, have you read it? Not as good as Douglas Adams though!

Oklahoma, the land of booklessness. The place where librarians are hired from out of state. Where people learn to read only so that they can travel to other states.

Ralph, the Janitor - Keeper of Magic Tricks that don't work (and some that do!) Posted Dec 6, 2001
On here you're only ever as old as you think you are, which makes me about 140 some days and about 15 on others!

JadedGoddess Posted Dec 7, 2001
Hmm, Ralph, I think I like your little theory on age, today I was 16, yesterday... about 74.
Sorry, Peta. I don't think I've ever heard of that book.
