that's a very generous thought, but i assure you there *are* people who are lame. i may not be one of them, but they exist.
hmm. what type of poetry do i like? i don't know as much about poetry as i should and i'm bad at categorizing things. to name-drop some particular poets: wallace stevens is fun... e.e. cummings is fun... allen ginsberg is nice and gritty... i like grit, that's sort of what i aspire to, with lots of internal rhyme. aren't you glad you asked?

Well I dont really read poetry books, I like to write love poems..

familey poems...

friend poems....

poems about animals..

etc..

well, not to go nuts or anything, but i recommend you try it, poetry is so good for you. i wish more people did read it. you can look any of those guys up on the internet easily. although i'll grant they're ..well, impossible to understand. allen ginsburg is the most straightforward, but the subject matter is intense. try Robert Bly.

No thanks, I'd rather just write poems...

That way I dont steal bits of other peoples poems...
