I have looked at all kinds of things on h2G2 in the past few weeks, and I am sorry I haven't replied to this message earlier, but I didn't really know what to say.

Since I still don't, I'll be brief and not at all to the point. Thanks for the welcome.

I have only recently tried looking at pages in the 'goo' format and I find it much better. Nonetheless, I have not yet invented a signature.

I have finally decided to try to get an article together and I would far rather produce it in GuideML. Unfortunately, I am not very familiar with ML languages and have been having terrible trouble getting more than the article title to appear in preview.

Sorry to bother you with my amateurish fumblings, but if you could give me any suggestions as to where I am going wrong, they would be greatly appreciated.

The most common problem with newcomers is they forget to "covert to Guide ML" before they preview.
Remember to ""update" the page after you have previewed.
Remember to close all your tags.

If you have any more problems please let me know, and please describe to me the specific problem you are having.

Hi 7of9,

thanks for getting back to me.

I have got to grips with all the simpler aspects of GuideML now, and tried my hand at some writing. Nothing finished yet, but I have definitely chosen subjects that fit the guidelines and I hope they will come to something.

To be honest, I thought I'd get one of them a bit closer to readiness and perhaps put it through the writing workshop to get some researcher feedback. Content is the biggest problem right now.
