But that really has nought to do with this call ... As I am likely old enough to be atleast an elder cousin, yada-yada and so on.

Cal and Jack, (more the latter than the former) know me well and long. Passively, MizzPinky and the full tribe of "lil" as well. As does Lady Pennywhistle. This whole fracas is such a badly timed and poorly met combination of people's personal bits. And it is very much looking like a serious severing of some long-time and fun ties. A sad enough thing.

Ah well, you know far better than I (reviewing my PS, and older PS) that cr@p happens. I know Cal to be a sensitive man, but also far stronger and of sturdier stuff than many would give him credit for. Because of a family tie to h2g2 that the pair of you share, I do expect him to return. Not soon, not easily. But it is a home of sorts.

I have made a number of friends here, most 'real' ones that live outside of h2g2. Some who can only meet here. So for that, I'll be around a lonnnnng while. And be very pleased WHEN Cal returns. Perhaps on the next surfacing, we can become friends by nature, not through mutual associates of the day.

Anyway, the upshot of this whole post, ... I have indeed seen you about over the past 2'ish years. And quite recently. And if YOU see it as a good thing, I'd like to be in touch via mails as they are my one availble constant. My PS carries a link at the tail end. Over to you ...
