Thanks, I'll be fine. Mom however most likely won't. But she's a pretty tough little old lady, you never know. We'll see what the weeks ahead hold and leave it at that. Which is pretty much all any of us can do when it's all said and done..

Sitting vigil is horrible... Especially when there's no hope, except for a miracle, which Mom didn't get

Well, we're not quite there yet..they want to get her stable and send her home. And she's determined to spend the winter in Florida once she's out. Hey when I'm pushing 80 I imagine I'll do whatever I want to as well. If I only had a few months left, I'd rather be on a nice sunny beach personally. Far be it from me to argue with her. I know, hard to imagine, isn't it?

I'll be glad to help..been rather out of it. Mom had a heart attack, followed by a quad bypass, followed by my husband's best friend (best man at our wedding actually) going to the hospital for surgery for cancer and then arresting in the OR and his death..it's been a rather bad couple of weeks..

Thanks just trying to get my bearings. As the movers had been scheduled to come the day after she had the heart attack (they sold their house) and she's going to rehab, I just need to regroup and deal with the practical things...which I had hoped would take my mind off other things. It hasn't. Both sides of the coin I suppose. The old girl is actually doing rather well, all things considered. I think now the shock of losing such a dear friend so young is finally setting in. But no getting around it, perhaps once the services are over it will be better.

Thinking of you... Maybe I'll email you (not a group thing this time...)
