Pleased to meet you as well. I'll use the traditional opening conversational gambit- How's the weather!?

Warm and dry here, soon to become our usual rain.

Please excuse the barreness of 'my space', I put a bunch of Leonard Cohen lyrics there and they have been removed. Copyright infringement I guess. Maybe I'll try a link.

Have a great day (my timezone and work mean I don't contribute regularly, you may have to be patient)! Try the 'What's wrong with H2G2 researchers' conversation for a laugh!

We are getting rain right now and it is much needed. Very hot and dry last few months. My site is no visual feast either. smiley - winkeye
I have been here {h2g2} for about year and half and do enjoy it.
Take care for now.

We have a strange weather system. Protected by Vancouver Island we get shielded from most of the bad stuff, but for 9 months of the year we get lots of rain (sometimes weeks at a time, usually 4 or 5 hours). The temperature is mild, very seldom freezing and usually no hotter than 25 or 30 degrees Celsius (look it up!) in the summer.

Everybody loves where they want to live. I love that place too and I'm lucky enough to live there. Come visit my space and ignore me (check links!).

Sounds like weather I would like. Even though I live on shpre line about 3 minutes from some of the most beautiful beachs in the world I am not a sun person. I like the rain and prefer winter. If fact I spend more time on the beach in the winter walking my dog in one day than I do in and intire summer. smiley - winkeye I do love the seasons however and would not want ro live anywhere else.
