Thank you jenny, I am trying to get to grips with this site at present, but one think I am sure you could help me is, where do you find the little 'smiley' icons (and hugs, roses etc)?

Oh, thats easy

You can make some smileys with the standard keyboard characters used for emoticons - eg colon, dash, bracket or : - ) makes a simple

Try subsituting the ) with a P and guess what happens?

For more advanced smileys like

you write the word inside angle brackets - like this < r o s e > but without the spaces. There are dozens of smileys, and if you click on anyone of them it will take you to the smiley page where you can find out what smileys are available and how to use them.
