Buffy...

Well, after seeing other people make note of the end of Buffy in their journals, i thought i should do the same, although i commented a lot on the cult site at <./>T285818</.>.

Well, Buffy has been brilliant, Angel will still be brilliant, and future spin-offs will be brilliant too.

Spin-off ideas:

1. Giles spin-off - Called 'Ripper' made in England by the BBC.
Likelyhood: 9/10 - When is the big qestion

2. Slayer spin-off - Perhaps with slayers travelling around training slayers, or a slayer training facility somewhere.
Likelyhood: 8/10

3. Faith Spin-off - Focussed on Faith and would be similar to Buffy but would ahve to be different in style, location etc
Likelyhood: 5/10 - More likely to be more then one slayer involved, and actpor who plays Faith is star in pilot of another TV series.

4. Cleveland spin-off - there is another hellmouth in Cleveland a series could be set at.
Likelyhood: 2/10 - Extremely unlikely.

Well, i'm getting tired. Wanna chat about Buffy then chat here, on the cult site or wherever, i don't mind. And you can talk about all series of Buffy or Angel. I seen 'em all (apart from last 2 eps of Angel. still to be shown. wait a couple fo weeks before talking about them).

Spaced Out Guide Entries

There are just over 40 entries in the Spaced Out Guide. Please submit way more. i don't mind if you just post any old entries that you wrote ages ago that is totally not suitable for the EG and isn't even good quality, just subit it, and it'll go in. I accept everything.

However, if you want to write a piece for the Spaced Out Guide, and you'd like an idea of the things i'd like the most, then here it is:

- Douglas Adams Humour

Try to write entries about real world things in a funny way, making up practically everything about them. That's what i'm really after. However, the Spaced Out Guide is also about community. Submit anything and it goes in. Submit enries to the Spaced Out Guide to become a part of a growing community there. It doesn't matter how good the entries are, but the fact that you have taken the time to write them and submit them, and that they will become a part of a growing element of Spaced Outness on h2g2.

The Spaced Out Guide can be found at A961986. Submit anything. Entries for the Spaced Out Guide. Ideas for the Spaced Out Guide. Your volunteer services for the Spaced Out Guide (searching h2g2 for entries from long gone researchers or active researchers that would be good for the guide).

And remember, I and the Spaced Out Guide need you, the community.

Spaced Out Guide Logo

ok everyone. if you're an artist, or if you're not, the Spaced Out Guide (A962769) needs a logo. the community artists seem to be busy, however, i have been informed that if someone else in the community made the graphic, then there is a chance it could be blobbed.

so here's the thing: i'd like any of you members of the community to do a logo, then e-mail it me (note: by e-mailing it me you give permission for the picture to be used on h2g2 and for me to include it on a different site of my own showing all the different great pictures, if i get any of course).

you don't have to think of a design. i have specifications. they are (taken from a different convo):

"my idea of ideal banner if one would be made for it would Contain the writing 'Spaced Out' in large comic sansy writing, slightly tilted so that it is slightly higher up on the right, with a comet having swung round the back of the writing to have left a seeable white cloud trail, the trail would U turn on left side and go right sort of underlinin text, with the comet just right of the text. The word 'Guide' would then appear in red sci-fiy writing on the white cloud. the 'Spaced Out' would be light bluey with a blue glow, and any spaces between letters or behind letters would wither be left blank or filled in with a black stary background."

OR, in terms of the smiley - surfer smiley:

"water = white gas from comet
surfer = words 'Spaced Out'
surf board = white has with word 'Guide' on it
end of surf board on right = comet

words 'Spaced Out' in bluey colour.
word 'Guide' in red
comic sans type font for words
black for fill in background"

there should be some Guide specifications on Community Artist homepage for colour backgrounds for diferent skins if needed.

please post in this thread if you are interested. if you have an idea please send it me to [email protected] . i welcome all graphics from everyone, and my favourite will hopefully be used, and the artist will get a mention on the spaced out guide home page.

have fun!smiley - smiley
