No, the story is, lived in Birmingham (England) for 10 yrs and they pronounce o as u so monster becomes munster, when I used to go clubbing in my younger days I used to wear a cookie monster t-shirt, but I always had a big bag of sweets in my handbag, and the sweety munster or monster was born..
