Thanks for your message. You are right in what you say - it is like a maze. Had a look at some conversations and find them a little, let's say, strange! In fact, I lost the thread of the "third party" topic somewhere along the line. I would be very interested in contributing articles or editing, though my time is limited to a degree. I completed a Creative Writing Course some years back and have written a book (unpublished). If I can manage to get any articles published it could help me obtain an agent or have my book published directly through a publisher.

Oh, the book was just a bit of fun that I wrote about two women going on a cruise to the Caribbean. It is written in mild Jilly Cooper style. In a nutshell, I was doing a course in Creative Writing and my tutor told me I should write a book. I had been on a cruise in the Caribbean and decided to write about what I know (very limited there!). To keep spirits up I remind myself that John Grisham's first submission "A Time to Kill", which took him two years to write, was turned down until he had success with his second book. Not doing too badly now, is he?
By the way, it was by researching the book I ended up living in the Caribbean. I miss the UK though, fish and chips, English humour, bustling cities. Hope to visit next summer.
I am interested in editing or contributing to h2g2 but I am concerned about my time limitations. I have to use my work computer right now. I would like to submit articles too. Any advice would be gratefully received?
Many thanks - not allowed to say muchas gracias, am I.
