ive seen your name before on here, with a slightly different tag..have you made requests or got i dont know....a lets have a vote for the biker smiley going? something like that? a little campaign of sorts going maybe?, might i suggest you post to the relevant person/persons and bug them silly till you wear them down and they eventually give in, and you get all of your friends/likeminded people to do the same lol you could have my vote here here im all for a biker smiley

IV - thanx for the wishes. I've been trying for over a year and have had lots support from many kind hootoos. I even volunteered to do the artwork myself, but was told that to be considered an artist I had to work hard and do lots of free artwork using software I haven't got...only then would I be 'rewarded' by getting the task of drawing a smiley. If THEY would give me copies of three smileys, namely and I believe they would combine well to make a Until then, I'll just get in their faces with namechanges and the like...!

over a year? thats awful! this site is so bloody up itself, you'd think the 'kind and helpful' staff would at least of given it a shot and tried by now, even if they designed a biker smiley themselves, it isnt that hard to make a smiley, is it?!
you got any friends on pc with that kind of software? you could give them a rough draft of what you had in mind and see what they come up with..the combination of the smileys would be alright but you definately need some burning rubber on it and the indication of speed to get it just right lol
yeah you get in their face! asking for over a year just shows how ignorant and clique they can be - you think this might be a cue for the smiley? lol nah probably be another yikesing for speaking my mind again LOL

We bikers believe two smileys are called for:
being the salt-of-the-earth friendly bikerperson
(giving thumbs-up with the LEFT hand as the right is on the throttle) and
being the motorcycle-with-rider zooming (wheelie?) at speed (L-R) and possibly the reverse from R-L

However, the evil, omnipotent ever-lurking-behind-electronic-drapes powers-that-be choose to ignore this most reasonable of requests...!

'we'? as in you and your friends? im not a biker, went out with 1 once, he was wild woohoooo (cue for a smiley? definately)! lol but enough about my dark and mysterious past i just think bikers are pretty and in the interests of not discriminating against anyone, i think the bbc should damn well give you your smiley!
i personally would be going for your smiley for the reasons stated
but that would depend on if the smiley was wearing a black leather jacket and white t-shirt, (hang on thats just my personal preference) lol
now if there was an smiley i personally would like to present it on behalf of so many disgruntled researchers to some of the the staff/aces of this site for being "kind and helpful", and "upstanding" members of the h2g2 community, (quoted from the rules, means nothing to me though until they are seen to be doing that), but that would be for personal reasons lmao cough fascists ahem smiley..who? me sir? no sir you must be mistaken, im just minding my own business sir watching the world go by LOL
