Here we are - just to carry on the subject which has nothing to do with making coffee!

What has the world come to? I just cant believe it. It really does not make sense. We have witnessed history in the making and the repercussions of today will be felt for years to come. Our children and grand-children will learn about today in history classes.
I am shocked, and i managed to fall out with two if my closest friends, over stupid things. I cant belive it. Im sure religious extremists are behind this somewhere.

If there is a god, why does he allow this to happen?

I still haven't been able to get my mind round the magnitude of what's happened. We are too blase, having seen this sort of scenario in all those films. Now it's really happening. It can't be true.
And it's really odd, last week's episode of 7 days as shown in Germany was one about a Moslem leader starting a world war. Well, as it turned out, it wasn't, it was a Christian fanatic who concocted the story (played by the holo-doc from Star Trek) ... hmmm, if you've seen neither, you don't know what I mean. But it's wag-the-dog syndrome. The film of Wag the Dog came out just before the real story of Clinton and Lewinsky - so uncanny.
Are you in Ireland?

Funny you should ask, im actually 60 miles north of London, where I have lived for all but a few weeks after i was born in scotland.
i still keep thinking 'is this real', it just seem so wrong. This kind of thing doesnt happen, simply doesnt happen. Hijacked airliners DO NOT crash into skyscrapers and fell them. it makes no sense at all and nobody will gain anything from this. I keep thinking of that picture on the front of the Guardian and it seems to terrible to be true.
On a better note, i managed to get things sorted with the people I fell out with, which was quite a relief.
