h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Well, that was a fun trip to Aberystwyth last week!

First we discovered J had come out with chickenpox the night before, but we phoned NHS 24 who said she'd be fine as long as she stayed away from other kids. Unfortunately her tonsillitis came back, giving her a lot of misery and another course of yucky antibiotics. She had an awful time of it and was really grizzly until the end of the week. We also had my niece with us, who was getting really bored as she had nobody to play with, and became very homesick by the third day.

To top it all, the weather was terrible and the caravan site we stayed on was pretty boring, last week still being their low season. We ended up coming home a day early, with the weather of course being gorgeous on the way up - cue a grumpy five year old crying for most of the eight our trip as her spots were really itchy because of the heat. Of course, the car's A/C has gone on the blink so there was little or no relief.

Conclusion? Let's go back next year!

I remember *that* weekend in Bognor. We should really do it again some time...

It was a seriously good weekend.... judging by the bits I remember... which arn't many, so I guess the bits I don't remember, which is most of it, must have been really rather good...

Serephina is intermittently here... and there... Almost everywhere these days!
