Quite. Vodka should be drunk neat with a little ice, or at a push some tonic water or vimto red bull is

Ooh I like ouzo! It's funny that if I drink pitchers of vodka and Red Bull I get really ill. And it's always a foreigner who buys them for me. Bloody foreigners!

My friends drink Jagermeister and Red Bull...
I can not stand even the smell of licorice or anise. I tasted a sip of straight Red Bull once and it was even worse.
Just the thought makes me want to .

Oh, I just came back from Poland, and they have fantastic vodka there. No way I'd mix it with red bull though. Just enjoy straight from the freezer

Any vodka from that part of the world is far superior to anything else. My friend brought some polish and russian stuff with her when she moved here and it was so nice we were drinking it neat.
I got a bit that night and sadly was
on my own bed.

Funnily enough, an expression which I heard frequently when people want to advertise the quality of a is, "it doesn't give headaches". I didn't dare investigate too deeply the limits of this claim though

I remember a journalist testing out various cures and writing about them in a newspaper a few years ago. He went out and had a few drinks, took the cure, and reported the outcome. The problem was, he went out and had four pints of lager beer. You'd have to be allergic to alcohol for that to give you a hangover!
Huh! No self-respecting journalist would admit to drinking that little.

Right?
But it does depend on the "lager"... Budweiser gives me a headache after about two cans... there is something in it that I'm "allergic" to... maybe it's the "beechwood aging"? I wonder how many ounces of "aging" are in it?

They did a similar thing on Brainiac RF. Jon Tickle gets pissed on six pints of Stella (lightweight!) and discovers a pint of water and two aspirin before you go to bed work the best. I swear by Irn Bru myself

Yes, I swear when someone tries to make me drink that stuff too
Am quite looking forward to my next hangover - I anticipate it will occur sometime next July or august...

I never get hangovers. Never had a headache, although once I did feel a bit sick the next morning for an hour or so.
Is it because I don't drink ? I'll never know.

Drink enough of any alcohol and you can have a hangover. The main culprit in hangovers is dehydration... your brain shrinks and bangs around in your skull.
