I spoke to my boss today and as far as she's concerned, she's doesn't want to take any holidays or such off me. She's never really had to deal with this sort of thing but reckons it should be okay. She too said she'd imagine there'd be some sort of allowance for this sort of thing, which is something less to worry about

Well, she took another stroke on Saturday and the test results don't look good. The doctors think that if she had another one she may not survive it and she also has too much protein in her bones, which is quite possibly cancer. I went to see her on Saturday and I could have cried when I saw her just lying there, her mind is all over the place. But she recognised me, which is always a good sign I suppose.

All you can do is wish the best for her. How has she been without your grandad? ..sometimes after so long they just can't bear to be apart. my grandad made all of 2 months without my nanna..or maybe shes not ready to give up yet .... its all up to her though..

She still pines for him, he died 7 years past in November. It's a horrible thought, but I really do think she just misses him too much, although she has said she's gonna put up a fight

Well if hes done 7 years n is still wanting to dig her heels in she just needs to find the extra strength..maybe you could help with that ..if she isn't ready to give up dont you either!

She passed away at 3 pm yesterday, didn't suffer.

Yeah, I'll survive I'm just dreading the funeral, the second one I've been to this year, though.
