Hello, and thanks for the welcome - I'm sure I'll be needing your friendly advice at some stage!

Here, have a sock (it's an odd one, not odd in itself, just by itself - don't worry it's nice and clean! - maybe you've got the other one in your collection...)

I take it you visited my space, then!! It's a good indication of how many titles you can pick up in a very short time here!!smiley - silly

Seriously though, any help you need, don't hesitate to ask! You can ask in this thread, or post a new one on my space...just click Discuss this... on my space! If I don't know the answers offhand, I will always go find them for you!

Sooo, how do you like it so far? Big place, lots to do, never boring!!
Are you using the Alabaster skin (white background) or the Classic Goo (blue background)?? Goo is soooo much nicer!

It's a pretty amazing place! I've been a bit bold and posted two conversations already (I don't know what came over me!), I'm sure I'll find plenty more as time goes on...

I would have replied to your first message sooner, but I was having a tea break - I'm sure you'd approve.

I'm on the Alabaster skin at the moment, I'll try the other one out now and let you know if I like it...

Actually, I do have a question - how do you add the smilies (and I don't mean short, blond TV presenters!) to a text box - I've been to the smiley page but I can't figure it out (beware, novice at work!!!).

Strangefish.

Right!

Smileys. You went to the smiley page, right? Then you saw all the lists. The little tags next to the various smileys are the codes for them. To add them to posts, like this one, just type in the code for the one you want!
< smiley > without the spaces! smiley - smiley
< biggrin > smiley - biggrin
< choc > smiley - choc
< tea > smiley - tea

Just remember not to put spaces in!
