You have made a great start by opening your space I like your self deprecating sense of humour - I think that you'll enjoy dipping your toes into the huuuuge h2g2 pond - just watch out for the pond scum

Thanks for the hello. It certainly seems to be a friendly enough place. My hope is that I'll end up actually writing something, instead of being a bum or someone who posts once and then disappears forever. I commented on one of those last night before I realized what was going on. *sigh*

Alright, I've done it. I wrote an entry. I swear I looked at those blasted guideline a good 7 times before I finally decided to submit what I wrote.

Not that I want you to edit it or anything, you're just the only person I know here so far. Been a little busy writing.

Main thing to remember is, when it goes to Peer Review, don't let it get to you - people really do want to help, I promise - it's just sometimes they don't come across that way .. be patient, and if you feel the need to curse drop a few s here
