Welcome to h2g2 - this site was inspired by Douglas Adams series Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy, in which Ford Prefect is a roaming researcher adding entries to the Guide - we are supposedly gathering all sorts of information about everything on earth and chatting and partying and generally having a good time while we are doing it.
