I have been unwell for quite some while and have a hospital appointment in just over a week. Hopefully, I can get to the bottom of it, however, I haven't been in the space to be very active just recently.

It would be lovely to see you again, hopefully reasonably soon.

It's been so hot and uncomfortable here in London - I must say I envy you being by the sea, where it must bee cooler. Things are very uncertain at work, although I'm carrying on regardless.

I have some leave coming up in August and it would be nice to come and see you some time.

Hi ZSF, Christiane lost contact with this account and open another as Also Ran 83. I'm not certain what happened, as one day she decided the move with h2g2 was just too much for her: http://h2g2.com/dna/h2g2/brunel/F22114279?thread=8292077&latest=1 I have emailed her a number of times since, but not received a reply. It is my hope that she managed her move to be closer to her son once again. lil x

She lives in a beautiful flat overlooking the sea and is still there. I rang her this morning and got through. She can't get online to h2g2. I said when I get back from holiday, I will go and visit her and see if I can help get her back online. She has lost most of her sight. I wonder how 2legs manages. Must find out.

She is very excited at the prospect of getting back online. Her h2g2 friends mean an awful lot to her and she has missed you all. I've asked 2legs for suggestions about how to use a computer without sight - he's had lots of practice. She was in very good spirits and has stuff to share about keeping an active mind.

Hello Gingersnapper,

I spoke with Also Ran this morning and she was hugely heartened to know that her friends on h2g2 were thinking of her and looking forward to her being back in the community.

I have promised to visit her after I come back from holidays (I'm going tomorrow and should be packing as we speak) and will see if I can get her back online. I may need lil's help or one of the other gurus and I've asked 2legs for advice too. She's still a vital person and knows she has lots to share.

Will let you know how we get on.
