There's no reason that you shouldn't be able to post to it that I can see. You've survived single sign on ... hang on - 360 has gone over to Religion and Ethics. Maybe you need to register for it separately? I remember having to do that when I started with 360 originally. Have you tried that, Aliji?

I actually visited the BBC just before the announcements were made about the staffing custs at h2g2 and met Maggy and had lunch with her. She was very concerned at the future of 360. Jen hasn't really been on site much at all and didn't make an effort to get to know members I had the feeling the site was going to be allowed to die off. I hope I'm wrong.

I've asked questions on the thread, Aliji.

OK, as you can see by postings, Jen doesn't seem to be around much for 360 at all. Although I've asked the question on her space, it may go unanswered for quite a while.

I'll ask on the ACE e-group. Not the right place, however it may get an answer quicker than waiting for Jen.

If I know what error message you're getting or at which point your membership of the site is failing I may be able to offer some pointers!

I have tried the page again with the same result!

First I get;

"We're sorry, but you can't post to a Discussion until you've agreed with our specific terms of use. Click here to complete your login - then you'll be able to share your wisdom with the rest of the Community. Tell me More!"

And then when I try to complete the login, I get;

"We're sorry, but the page you have requested does not exist. This could be because the URL1 is wrong, or because the page you are looking for has been removed from the Site.

We apologise for this interruption in your surfing, and hope the tide comes back in soon."

She apparently had the same problems, which have now been sorted, thanks to persistence. I've no idea how many times you've tried.

Back now with some answers, I've been away investigating.

There's a bug in the 360 system, it's showing an error message when people are actually logged into the system. If you try to post an Entry you'll find that you can do it and I *think* that if you can create an Entry on 360 you'll also find that you can post to a conversation if you actually go to the conversation and post. The error seems to be in the transition page between sign in and the process taking you to your space. It's being investigated by the 360 skin tech team and it'll be fixed shortly.

If you, or anyone else has problems, email membership at bbc dot co dot uk and they'll be able to tell you if you are signed into the 360 site.

Well I have created an Entry on 360 and I still can't post to it!

That's not good! Oh dear! Have you tried registering for 360 in a different guise? I know it's not a proper answer, but it's the only thing I can think of at the moment!
