h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hi ZSF!

I am in need of some help/advice about h2g2 and wonder if you would be good enough to assist.

I've not been here long - a week or so - and have been pleasureably engaged in a number of conversations. From what I have gathered there, it seems there is interest in setting up a forum for those interested in food in all its aspects.

Can I start one in h2g2? And if I can, how do I go about it?

Hi Stephen,

You could do at least two things. You could go to 'Ask the h2h2 Community' (from the front page) and put a question up - eg who would be interested in joining, suggest what you think the topics should be and ask for suggestions as to what people want.

The second thing you could do is an entry and submit it to <./>ThePost</.>, suggesting that people might want to talk about food.

What sort of things do you want to talk about? GM foods, organic food, vegetarian food? (There's a Vegetarian Society you might want to check out!) Again, the 360 community is likely to be interested in such issues.

If you want to talk about gourmet food, or other aspects, I can't think of anywhere that has a channel for discussion at present, although you could always start one if you wanted to.
