You said in Peer Review that you had friends who were home educating. How did they go about GCSE exams and coursework. This is the bit we're stuck on! We know we need to contact the relevant boards but don't know when.

I'm not sure how they sorted that. I tend to think that they didn't go for formal qualifications. They have six children, the oldest of whom is over 21. The two older girls are now at college.

I have to say that the children (especially the older children) are very well adjusted. They are quite mature and seem to display none of the teenage angst/awkwardness that many teenagers go through. I can talk to them just like normal people.

I will find out and reply to you. It might take me a couple of days, so if you don't hear from me immediately, don't worry. The family tends to go on lots of camps during the summer time, so they may be away at present.

Are you members of EO by the way? They swear by it.

Yes, they are away on camp at present. I'll ask them when they get back.
